Halsey Hall Verified Member Posted September 27, 2013 Posted September 27, 2013 I just got home from work. Long day. And no ice cream. sigh. Ahhh, so the shoe's on the other foot. And speaking of things to think about, the only thing I've been thinking about for too long is apple crisp. Soooooo, today I tried my hand at making it! Who says you can't teach and old dog new tricks? And it isn't to bad, especially with a couple scoops of vanilla ice cream on top. This is just my opinion, of course, with no disrespect to anyone. But much thanks to ChiTown for inspiring me to step into uncharted waters.
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted September 27, 2013 Posted September 27, 2013 A manager just took out a starting pitcher, with what appears to be more concern for getting the team a win than getting the starter a win. Is that even legal?

Is that even legal? Have to check whether this situation has ever come up before in a MLB game. Does a manager get credit for a win if he's thrown out by the umpiring crew for a violation like this?

Guest USAFChief Guests Posted September 27, 2013 Posted September 27, 2013 Scintillating interview with Simone Augustus wherein she explains that Diana Taurasi is her "frenemy." A freind off the court, an enemy on the court. Fascinating. 75-46 with 7 minutes left.
