Shelton even with a not great roster isn't the answer as manager either. But you know the Pohlads were comfortable. I don't think TK himself could muster much out of this collection of misfit toys. Such a poorly constructed roster. Complete lack of speed and competent hitting.

Shelton was Falvey's hire, you would never have gotten a big name manager making big money to take the job even if you tried.  The biggest thing the Pohlads are guilty of is not getting rid of Falvey last fall.
