The wildly popular annual St. Paul Baseball Old Timers' Hot Stove League Banquet (a Twins Caravan Event!) will be held on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at the Midland Hills Country Club in Roseville.  (Proceeds from the banquet benefit local youth baseball and other charitable organizations, such as Our Lady of Peace Hospice in St. Paul.)  As part of the Minnesota Twins' Winter Caravan, the Old Timers' Banquet is truly "Where Old Friends Meet!" Big league stars of today, yesterday and tomorrow will be present, as well as sports celebrities of the Twin Cities.  Please join us for this great evening, in celebration of America's game!

The head table will, once again, be loaded with notable speakers and guests. Being emceed by Sean Aronson (St. Paul Saints Play-by-Play Voice and Vice President, Director of Broadcasting & Media Relations), anticipated head-table guests / speakers include Derek Shelton (current Twins Manager), Derek Falvey (current Twins President of Business & Baseball Operations), Derek Sharrer (Executive VP * General Manager, St. Paul Saints & Twins AAA Affiliate), Jerry Bell (Retired President and member of the Twins HOF), and Jim Rantz (retired Director of Minor Leagues and Twins HOF member) -- along with Tim Tschida (St. Paul native and retired Major League Baseball Umpire), Ty McDevitt (current Head Coach of the MN Golden Gophers), and John Anderson (retired MN Golden Gophers Head Coach). Old Timers Member, Fr. Dan Haugan (Pastor of Lumen Christi Catholic Community in St. Paul), will deliver the pre-dinner invocation. Additional guests, as announced on the Old Timers web page.

This year's honored Older Timer, Dave Anderson, will also receive special recognition. In addition, the 2025 4th District American Legion MVP, Tyler Allshouse of White Bear Post 168, will be honored with the Klark-Killen Memorial Award.

A fabulous grilled top sirloin steak dinner will be served -- including Caesar Salad, Rolls & Butter, Roasted Red Potatoes, Vegetable, Dessert, Coffee (regular, decaf) or Tea.  (An alternate vegetarian Roasted Vegetable Pasta option is available; if desired, please specify such by using "CONTACT" on the ticket-ordering site.  See link below).

  • Batting Practice (social hour) begins: 5:30 pm
  • Game Time (dinner and program): 7:00 pm
  • A Silent Auction, featuring a wide-variety of sports memorabilia, will also be available as well, beginning during the social hour.
