I'm not privy to why people are so focused on Keirsey Jr. ' s problems at the plate when he is strictly a use only in case of emergency reserve when Royce Lewis has been worse this season in a full time role. I hope Royce pulls out of it but it is odd how he is seen as a critical core player when he is so clearly not functioning at anything close to full physical ability which is obvious to anyone watching the games. Yes I'm hoping Lewis goes on a tear but he looks far worse in all aspects of baseball than Keirsey Jr. has ever looked. Doc Lenz, IndyTwinsFan, USAFChief and 1 other 4

Patzky Old-Timey Member Posted May 26, 2025 Posted May 26, 2025 Good news dept is that Paddack is being reasonably efficient so far. Of course if we get zero runs, the chances of winning drop considerably. USAFChief 1

Has Kiersey ever produced at the Majors -- thats the issue --he never will on a regular basis, used right he can be a good role player

AceWrigley Verified Member Posted May 27, 2025 Posted May 27, 2025 I see the offense is back to "what am I swinging at" mode again. We go through these spells of lack of pitch recognition . . . it gets painful watching. Patzky 1

No balance, lower half all over the place. Doc Lenz 1

I don't quite understand why someone who is not 100% AND struggling is up. Now he'll hit a 3 run homer.
