Scott Erickson Story

Rebecca Grossman was convicted by a Los Angeles jury of killing two boys while driving drunk.  The jury didn’t buy her defense argued by her attorneys that former Twins 1991 Pitcher Scott Erickson was the actual driver to blame for the deaths.  Apparently, he had met her for drinks earlier.and drove in a separate car.  Scott Erickson did not testify. 
Maybe I missed this story earlier - but I was unaware of the Twins connection till the news story was posted today.  Reckless Driving charges against Erickson (alleging he was racing Grossman) were already dismissed in return for his recording a public service announcement on safe driving.  
There are some other facts alleged against Scott Erickson that I will not recount here.  I have too many good memories of his pitching during the 1991 World Series season.   .
