Sawyer Gipson-Long was the Twins sixth-round draft pick in 2019 out of Mercer. He rose through the Twins organizational ladder until the trade deadline in 2022 when he was traded to the Tigers for reliever Michael Fulmer. This September, he received his first call to the big leagues and was fantastic in his debut and his first month in the big leagues.
