PDX Twin Verified Member Posted October 1, 2022 Posted October 1, 2022 Can't get through the game without TD!
PDX Twin Verified Member Posted October 1, 2022 Author Posted October 1, 2022 Bundy for the Twins, Hutchinson for the cats.

ashbury Verified Member Posted October 1, 2022 Posted October 1, 2022 Error on Wallner in the first? Anyone got a description of what happened?
PDX Twin Verified Member Posted October 1, 2022 Author Posted October 1, 2022 Had I known I would do today, the theme would have been "October baseball, Twins style."

I was typing instead of watching, so someone correct me if I'm wrong, but it sounded like he forgot to field a single to right and turned it into three bases.

I really don't understand how our prospects remain so raw in the field, after time in the minors. They've been playing baseball all their lives, and get professional coaching for a couple of years... and still, this???

He looks like a DH to me.

RpR Verified Member Posted October 1, 2022 Posted October 1, 2022 Minor League, including AAA is NOT Major League, doing well there too often means squat in the Big Show. but then Wallner was abysmal even in the Minors. Maybe AAA for him next year if not , AA.
RpR Verified Member Posted October 1, 2022 Posted October 1, 2022 Contreras, less than 10 hits total but of which 3 are home runs, interesting.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted October 1, 2022 Posted October 1, 2022 One moment... turning the game on. Sorry i wasn't paying attention... I coulda thrown something together.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted October 1, 2022 Posted October 1, 2022 Arraez only 1 for 3. Is he holdin' Judge at bay? I ain't been paying attention.... Anyway, come on Cave!

sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted October 2, 2022 Posted October 2, 2022 Cave takes a walk. Up to Sanchez now (bases loaded, 2 out, top of the 5th, CPU)
rwilfong86 Verified Member Posted October 2, 2022 Posted October 2, 2022 Gio picked off. The base running mistakes never end. What on earth was he thinking there?
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted October 2, 2022 Posted October 2, 2022 At least Sanchez didn't disappoint us. Urshella picked off 2nd base.
ashbury Verified Member Posted October 2, 2022 Posted October 2, 2022 Urshela picked off second? Forget arbitration in 2023, just cut him.
Twins_Fan_For_Life Verified Member Posted October 2, 2022 Posted October 2, 2022 I don't know that I've ever seen a man picked off second base with the bases loaded before

solomon1930 Verified Member Posted October 2, 2022 Posted October 2, 2022 This should be the last appearance of Bundy in a Twins uniform.

Yes. The base running mistakes end when we get out. He was probably thinking, is this a big enough lead i can score on a shallow single? Oh @#! he's picking me off!

He also mighta been trying to draw a throw, in the hope it was errant and runner on 3rd could trot home. It is a fine line to play, as he did succeed in drawing a throw. Sadly, it was on target.
