I don't get how the A's and Rays keep winning games. It just doesn't seem to matter what player they trot out there, they just succeed. To me it feels the opposite... no matter who we trot out, we just aren't any good.

Adrianza was bailed out by a bad throw because he would have been out at home for the 5th time or so this season. Gene Glynn has no feel for Adrianza's speed.

If Astudillo The Player finishes the season being even close to as good as Astudillo The Story, then he's probably my favorite bright spot in a season that's been woefully short of them.
