And this has something to do with this year's instructional league roster how? Let's please stay to the topic.

Smith is one of the coaches for instructional league. Another poster commented about how good it was that three Spanish speaking coaches were going. For a team with apparent problem developing players, they need to improve how they deal with player issues and improve who deals with player issues, I.e., Smith.
