With the Minnesota Twins' pitchers and catchers reporting to camp today, we have a video special presentation: Real Stories. The first subject is former Twins pitcher Cole DeVries. DeVries shares the highs and lows of his major league career.

 

Watch below.Earlier in the off-season, DeVries sat down with the No Juice Podcast to discuss his experience with Ron Gardenhire, Rick Anderson and coming up through the minor league system. In this video, the former Twins pitcher talks about his career -- from stepping on the field for the first time to facing a potent Texas Ranger lineup to what life is like after the game.

Neat. The best parts were the most detailed parts -- talking about pretending to be Twins in the backyard and thinking about how in the heck to get out a lineup full of Rangers All-Stars. Drive that type of detail throughout the video and it'd be a few notches better, imo.

Good point! I love this stuff, the memories, good and bad and the life. DeVries had a very solid, unexpectedly good career for a non-drafted free agent from Minnesota!
