Maybe we keep Nunez long-term?.....as a post-season Yankee-killing specialist....

I hope you are not jokin about that.

Who's the Twins mop-up guy? Maybe let him create a save situation for Perk? Twins still need an ASG rep.

Thielbar.

This might be my favorite game of the year.

(and my 9-5 prediction doesn't look too silly now)

Other than the total runs score, the margin of victory, and the number of runs scored by each team...no your prediction doesn't look silly! :)

I will not be able to breathe until we score the next 3 outs

Well, keep posting, because if we go more than 2 minutes without hearing from you, I'm calling Chicago 911.

Assuming that's long distance so I'll need to dial a 1... Does that mean you have to dial 1-911?

I like Thielbar too, jb, but do you really think he should be our ASG rep?

LOL, no. But he did a fine job mopping up there.

This game was won by 2 ex Yanks Hughes with 8 IP and 2 earned runs and Nunez with the 2b and 2 RBIs.

This game helped Hughes All Star Game Chances. But he has a way to go.

Kubel with 4ks in 4 AB should say something to management. He should pass through waivers if the Twins want to option him out to be kind.

Good question. I'll call directory assistance to get the number.

Lol. The blue tinge to my face is subsiding and I didn't pass out, so all is good.

Let me be the first to say, I was skeptical of Hughes, and couldn't be happier to be wildly, gloriously wrong.

Can I just be the first to say, that I hope you are as equally skeptical of Meyer and May?

I was going to make a tasteless, cruel joke about the blue hair still being there, but I decided not to.

Me too, chief...and he's an easy guy to cheer for (unlike Nolasco who strikes me as being a little surly)

911: Good Afternoon 911... Is this an emergency?

Chief: I think so... My friend ChiTown was holding her breath and she stopped posting.

911: Sir... The caller ID says this call is coming from Arizona.

Chief: Yes... I live in Arizona.

911: This is Chicago 911

Chief: Yes.. ChiTown lives in ChiTown.

911: you say she was holding her breath... Is she breathing now?

Chief: I don't know

911: Look at her chest... Is it rising and falling?

Chief: I can't look at her chest.

911: It's ok... Don't be bashful its a medical emergency.
