sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 Still knocking. Oh, sorry. "Who's there?"
D. Hocking Verified Member Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 What a crazy game! And the Twins are different .....patient and dare I say hungry to win! Toronto really seemed to want to give us this game on a silver platter, but I still think last year we would had no thanks and lost anyways. While I am not ordering my World Series tickets yet, and there will be some ugly games ahead, there does seem to be a different feel to the team.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2014 Author Posted April 18, 2014 What do you say if you are a Jay when you get back into the dugout? Placing quotas on Walks was a bad idea!!!
zchrz Provisional Member Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 "Where is my penis" Thats only if you are Navarro
big dog Verified Member Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 My daughter's 7th-grade fast-pitch softball team looked like this. No one could hit, but they could take pitches and advance on wild pitches/passed balls.
ashbury Verified Member Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 Oh, sorry. "Who's there?" Our closer. Somewhat fighting the yips. But battling.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 1 more and it's hot tub time!

Willihammer Provisional Member Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 Things that are better at blocking than Dioner Navarro - dreamcatchers
big dog Verified Member Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 Holy crap. OK, I was mentioning pre-game that the Twins were a lot better at taking pitches. But still.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 With worse control. But higher velocity! Wildness is more fun when the ball goes the wrong way, but really fast.
ashbury Verified Member Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 Damn...now who can i make fun of?
MichiganTwins Verified Member Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 What do you say if you are a Jay when you get back into the dugout?Looks like we are walking across the border tonight
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2014 Author Posted April 18, 2014 Our closer. Somewhat fighting the yips. But battling. LOL... I honestly didn't catch the set up... I'm sorry... Knock just seemed so appropriate for the game.
big dog Verified Member Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 OK, dial it back to March 31. Who had the Twins over .500 after this series....crickets...yeah, me neither

Guest Guests Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 The Twins might be better than we thought. They were able to win a crazy game without having Cordarelle Patterson touch the ball.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 And simultaneously fascinating. The Jays' pen was the multi-car pile-up, and we were the gawker slowdown. And I damn near rear-ended Ash. Wait, that didn't... where's the @#%ing delete button?
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2014 Author Posted April 18, 2014 We deserved the sweep.
Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 Winning Nine to Five,What a way to make a living.Barely getting by,It's all taking and no hitting.
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 Hate to be debbie downer here, sportsfans, but this just cements "sacrifice bunt = big inning" in a certain man'ger's mind.
Twins Twerp Provisional Member Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 One day, TWO wins.....SWEET!!!2 girls, ONE cup.......NOT SWEET!!!!!
cmathewson Provisional Member Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 All this patience with men on base is suspect. Why don't they swing at that first strike more often?
ashbury Verified Member Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 Psst, Gardy. Didja enjoy that 8th inning? See what you can do with a four man bench?
