Why not hype Royce Lewis as AL rookie of the year? Rookies with a full year (or nearly so) in the league have a certain advantage, but none of the familiar names have numbers approaching Royce.   Random thought here. There's been a lot of buzz about the historically good rookie trio of Julien, Wallner, and Lewis, but I haven't seen anyone observe that this happened despite the Twins' farm system being fairly low-ranked coming into the season, and for the last couple of seasons for that matter.
