  1. Well, the last time I bought playoff tickets, one had to buy an entire strip for all possible home games, every round. Assuming that is still true.
  2. Definitely not good Gibson. This is Gibson from June to mid August.
  3. I was only half paying attention. Weren't they talking about a game 163?
  4. If I had to make the call today it would be Duffey. He's been pretty bad since the Break.
  5. Compared to the Tigers, they do. Of course, a lot of the Tiger bullpen issues (and the Twins too) would be helped with better starting pitching.
  6. Shouldn't really need more than 7 relievers (and thus 11 pitchers total) in a multi-game series. Unless there are postponements, there are never more than 3 games in a row. Meaning, your relievers can theoretically work every game if needed, as long as no one gets overworked in one game.
  7. Maybe if the Twins make the ALDS. My understanding is that teams can set it for the wild card game and then change it for the next round. IMO, taking 12 pitchers to a one game playoff would be foolish. If you need more than 10, you are losing anyway. Bats will be more useful. Assuming Colon is skipped Monday, Mejia would be scheduled to start the final game of the regular season. If he does, he wouldn't be available for the wild card game anyway.
  8. Wow, he's terrible over there. Bunting on him might be in order if the need arises.
  9. We'll take it, but that is terrible pitch calling IMO.
  10. Can't believe Norris is throwing Kepler fastballs here.
  11. There is scheduled to be. Presumably in case of a game 163 or other potential make up games.
  12. So, an interesting development. Dick just said that Molitor said it is "unlikely" that Sano helps in the regular season.
  13. And if they are gassed and don't perform, the result is the same. Adrianza is a more than adequate fill in offensively and defensively.
  14. Well, I think he had one game in NY as the DH. That's like a half day off. Until (If) Sano returns, he'll probably do that again.
  15. Yeah, definitely not seeing good Gibby so far. Get a little lead and give it right back.
  16. I think Escobar might get Sunday off. I don't think he's had a day since Sano went on the DL. With Monday an off day, it's two days in a row to recharge for that final push. Be interesting to see who else might get off either tomorrow or Sunday. Mauer, Dozier and Polanco are pretty likely candidates as well.
  17. Like to see that from Kepler. Need to see more.
  18. Spoke too soon perhaps. So far, meh Gibby.
