  1. Like I said, why would you pitch to Buxton?
  2. Chris Giminez is on deck. I don't know why the Indians would even consider pitching to Buxton.
  3. Don't screw this up now Paul. Let Rogers warm up. If they bring in a RHB THEN you make the move to Hildenberger.
  4. Rogers v Kipnis (although I would assume the Indians pinch hit). Then Hildenberger.
  5. Dozier needs to come through here.
  6. Duensing would look pretty good in the Twins pen right about now. He has a career 3.5 ERA as a reliever and a career .620 OPS vs LHB.
  7. This is absolutely wrong. Gee has not been effective the second time through all year. He was pulled EXACTLY when he should have been. I think Molitor's bullpen management tonight has been pretty good. Although, I would have had Gee start the second.
  8. Bruce will not face Pressly. Has to be Rogers or Turley.
  9. Your pinch hitting options for Kepler are Garver, Adrianza, Giminez, Vargas, Goodrum and Granite. Who do you like?
  10. This would be a big hit for Kepler.
  11. I generally consider Francona to be a pretty smart guy. But, he's got Bruce, Santana and Kipnis batting consecutively. All 3 are much worse vs LHP. If the Indians do that in the playoffs, those three will see nothing but LHP after the 5th. Kinda makes the opposing manager's job easy.
  12. Of course, now the Indians are likely to bunt. Or maybe use a pinch hitter.
  13. Perez hits after Kipnis. He's got an OPS over .800 vs LHP. No way should Gabriel Moya be facing him in a tie game.
  14. I can't understand how Molitor uses Polanco to bunt in the third inning, but doesn't have Castro bunting in the 6th.
  15. But the question is who directly follows Moya. Only one answer there.
  16. Of course, Castro rarely hits the ball the other way. Bunting may not really be necesarry.
