  1. OK. If Rodney had the second best WPA for the Twins today, it doesn’t say much for the value of that stat.
  2. Kennys Vargas is an obvious example.
  3. You usually don’t carry five of them on your 40 man roster. Usually guys on the 40 man are guys you think can play at the MLB level. If not today, then someday.
  4. I need a shower now. I feel dirty about that win.
  5. Actually, I missed the “ne” in gone.
  6. Don’t stand, don’t stand so close to me...
  7. Good time for a “pick me up” Ehire.
  8. “...singles on a popup to Logan Forsythe, deflected by Logan Morrison”. Huh?
  9. I’m trying to rationalize Morrison pinch running for Grossman. Was he hurt? Barring that, I don’t see the logic. You arguably improve defense at first and rf. But you made it worse in lf and 3b. That’s a push, at best.
  10. No one is saying they have been. But the question remains if Busenitz, et al aren’t better than waiver wire fodder, why are they still on the roster? Funny thing too, some guys actually put up better numbers at the MLB level. Not many. But some. Point being it is worth finding out if they can have success at the MLB level before they end up on the waiver wire themselves. And if they don’t show anything, well I guess then we know something to be added to the offseason shopping list.
  11. Phillips was 20 feet to the right of that. Where was he going?
  12. I’m surprised they shift Polanco. I’ve never seen his spray chart, but the “eye test” says he’s pretty good at using the whole field.
  13. “Wheels” Sano going first to third.
  14. Yeah, I don’t think Smith is going to get too deep into the lineup on turn #3.
  15. wth, is that GREY in Cave’s beard? That’s why I shave mine...
