  1. Ober's velocity is down, fastball sitting 89-91. Gonna be a long season if that doesn't improve.
  2. What are we doing starting the season in St, Louis anyway
  3. I think Laz missed the "Laz strike zone" on a couple of Topa's pitches.
  4. I don't know what I'm talking about but it seems Pablo's focus or ability to bear down just seems lacking or something.
  5. That's why they call it hard ball.
  6. Sooooo, i wonder what the Saints opening lineup looks like . . .
  7. I think we've got our first meme of the year eh.
  8. I had the usual. A banana and a shooter.
  9. Right handed batters have hit a little better than lefties against Sonny Gray over his career, not so much the last 2 years. And I agree giving Bader the opening start in his old home park is a nice move. He should get a nice greeting.
  10. I have to admit that I expect about 81 games (half a season) worth of playing time from each of the "Three Gimpateers". Anything more than that is gravy. Unfortunately in Correa's case he is highly paid for a full season's worth of action.
  11. Maybe the article should be titled: "Twins Fans Need to Decenter Royce Lewis From Their Plans".
  12. Every team has their injury issues. Heck, If the Yankees lose any more starters, Brent Headrick will be in their rotation.
  13. Maybe put a treadmill next to the dugout steps that a hitter has to use for 2 mins before hitting the on-deck circle. I just can't see pulling a hammy in a spring training game running to first base.
  14. All I can think of is someone disabled the NO button on the design sign-off. Just wow.
  15. I'm sure we all can't wait to root for the Coicado Rories.
  16. And the A's hat is in reference to where fans will put their old Oakland baseball gear, the Attics.
  17. I guess the Milwaukee hat celebrates spring weather there, the Brrs.
  18. The Mashers and the Tetas, hahahaha.
  19. I think Albury was moved to the Padres in 1969 as he pitched in their minor league system in '69 and '70. The Twins drafted him in the 1970 minor league draft. It's hard to maintain a modern major league career if you walk more guys than you strikeout, but he did have a winning record of 18-17, so there is that.
  20. If he didn't do anything wrong, why did he apologize to the Twins and if not for the pitch-tipping accusation, what did he apologize for? Why would opponent batters say such a thing if not true? It seemed egregious enough to Lakeland's coaches to tell our coaches. Something doesn't add up here and hopefully the MLB investigation report will tell us something.
