    Perspective. Over this 4-game set with Cleveland, the Twins got 11 rbi's. Shohei Ohtani got 10 rbi's . . . today.

    I put this on the owners. We had a really good year last year and some exciting young players and even won a playoff game. How to build on that? These guys screw-up the media contract, decide to cut payroll, don't address the needs for the team not only in the off-season, but all year long. The fizzling out of this team late in the season is probably the most fitting ending.

    The umpire did say he was aware of the situation but as the impartial arbiter was not responsible to report what was going on. Tipping pitches is not against the rules, just bad conduct. I think the ump said he was going to report it after the game, but the opposing team took care of it for him.

    I was going to post yesterday that I had a hunch the Twins were going to promote Michael Helman, but had mustard on my hands from my mighty sandwich and was too lazy to go up and wash them so I could type. 😀
