We are putting great players on the field this year. Morneau healthy and hitting home runs is huge. Our pitching looks disastrous, might as well be flipping coins for Baker, Liriano, and the Bullpen. Sad thing is, we already know Pavano and Blackburn are going to give up many many hits with their high contact rate/ low strike out rate. With that being said, there is always some surprise that arises every year.

Carl Pohlad wins the Mega Millions. Twins trade Nick Blackburn to the Angels for Albert Pujols. This happens before the trade deadline.

Why would we pay for someone who we signed to a 1-year contact who is injured, more money. He has proven absolutely nothing to the Twins organization. I say gtfo and let's save 400,000.

Yeah, posting this roster on other forums people have been ripping into me. I understand getting big bats early is the way to go but with 8th pick I kept falling on pitcher after pitcher, couldn't help myself. All the good 1B and 3B were already gone. So I went for speed/SB's, which translates into runs , average, and if im lucky OPS. Last year I had like the 4th overall pick and happened to get all 3, Adrian, Ellsbury, and Bautista! Also had David Wright but of course he was an epic fail last year.

There is no way Revere is going to be sent down before the start of the season.

At least it sounds like his bat will be in the lineup everyday. Where do you see him hitting in the lineup? 6th maybe after Mauer, Morneau, and Willingham?
