Just because people are freaking out now, doesn't mean that they don't have some context to it. A stretch of baseball this ugly, at any point in the season, is worth ranting about. It's brutal and not enjoyable to watch. It's a long season. Plenty of time to straighten things out. -
That's cause if this were June or July and we've been enduring this for that long, nobody would be paying enough attention to freak out like this!

Ha! Never thought that Bally's would be doing me a favor! Thanks Bally's!

They'll get lucky because people want to do things again as the pandemic eases. In a normal year, you'd be spot on.

I appreciate the optimism, but that's not a description of a team that'll win 100 games or do well in the playoffs.

I always enjoy your optimism. I really do!

So, you're expecting another 2019? That's basically what happened then too.
-
Where?

Reloads the bases for good luck????
-
Yes.

Fortunate that pitch didn't get deposited in the bullpen...
-
That's something they can use too, I think.
-
Can he hold a late game lead? Or hit with RISP?
-
RISP LOB...
-
My God Sano...
-
But he's the cleanup hitter! Speaking of which, I need more Scotch.
-
I think I like this starting lineup better than what the twins are actually putting out there. What the hell?!
-
*sigh*
-
what a surprise that was...
-
Same logic that still has Buxton on the bench.
-
That works too, but I'd still be happier with Buxton on 2B...
-
Unleash the Buxton already!
-
how do you not PR Buxton?!
-
*wipes brow*
-
Is anyone actually warming in the pen?
