  1. Romo blowing them away with the "fast" ball.
  2. Similar to the "almost" guarantee on most products.
  3. Andrew Miller . . . Andrew Miller . . . wait, didn't he used to be Andrew Miller?
  4. By my California maths, that's one good game for Blyleven.
  5. Hill has a nasty curve ball. Good to see it working so early in the season.
  6. Is that what's going on at the ballpark, or is the broadcast adding stadium noise?
  7. WOW, those uniforms are bright! Good to be here with you all.
  8. Well, that Boom Stick blast did get caught between the moon and Chicago.
  9. At least it didn't get caught between the moon and New York City.
  10. A good story, with a bit more of a personal touch: https://www.si.com/mlb/2020/06/19/calvin-griffith-statue-minneapolis-black-lives-matter
  11. Happy belated Father's Day! Me: What's that you're drinking? Daughter: Soy milk. Me. Hola Milk! Soy Padre!
  12. By "we'd be ranked higher", I mean Target Field.
  13. Great article in the Athletic: https://theathletic.com/1600725/2020/02/19/a-beer-nerds-guide-to-baseball-ranking-every-stadium-by-craft-beer-offerings/ Even at #7, we're only 4th in our division. Tigers are #11. The "Brewers" are only #10. The bottom three are interesting: Dodgers, Yankees and Blue Jays. Only one I've been to is Dodger Stadium, and I have to agree with the panel of 100 beer drinkers. The only park I really know well is Coors, and it's a very disappointing place for beer, considering what is on offer generally in Denver. Sounds like we'd be ranked higher based on quality of beer, but the accessibility of the best beer in the park isn't as good as some others. Rankings are based on Top Beer, Average Beer and Accessibility. They love the Surly. I'm hoping to get back to MN for a game this summer. Can't wait to try (at my age, borrow) some Surly!
