    I have been driving a Camaro convertible all week -- a rental. It's not easy to get in and out of it, but fun to drive. Because it's a rental, I have not hesitated to drive it like a rented mule. Pino is a pleasant surprise. The Twins need to get him a run.

    This is another reason why the Twins should move to Beverly Hills. Not a cloud in the sky here, and our next rain probably will not occur until October or so.

    I lived in Boston for 3 years and Brian's setup today was extremely entertaining to me. Now the Twins need to complete the hilarity with a big win.

    I was expecting the Twins to be 10 games below .500 at this point in the season, so I can be forgiving of games like this one (and yesterday's game). It's nice that the Twins are contending, but it seems to me that there are some fundamental weaknesses that probably cannot be fixed until next year or the year after.

    What I am most enjoying is the fact that it's been 15 days since we had a kitchen. But yes, it's 70 degrees and not a cloud in the sky.
