  1. Wait..3-4 for Dozier? I didn't mean just today! I meant since he replaced Hicks! Come on, give me SOME credit.
  2. Searching splits like that gets a bit difficult via mobile..
  3. I'm lame and don't have internet at my apt. How has Dozier hit since moving to the leadoff spot?
  4. Good God Pelf. Every time I have a chance to watch a game.. In other news..how about that offensive juggernaut A's team?
  5. I've thought the same thing. You don't get the same excitement when he comes up with guys on base like you used to. More the slight fear he is going to jut swing really hard and just sky a pop up or strike out on junk out of the zone.
  6. This thread is just begging to get bumped repeatedly come July and August. I hope it doesn't.. but... How dare us use a decade sample size to predict future results as opposed to rubbing three weeks of stats in everyone's face.
  7. I'm sure KC is available in both of your leagues to fill the void.
  8. Mauer doesn't hit enough home runs.
  9. I still feel he didn't get the credit he deserved, especially the year after TJ. Velocity be damned.
  10. Does Neshek count? If so, he's my vote.
  11. So you piled it on everyone, telling them to learn the game and calling everyone babies, etc, when you misremembered the entire sequence of the inning? Got it.
  12. Great article, and it doesnt even touch on things like lowering payroll, etc, that gets the majority of us thrown into a tiz.
  13. I admit it does sound a bit ridiculous, and would only really be useful to avoid something like an impending snow storm, tropical storm, hurricane, etc. Just got me to thinking out loud.
  14. Has a double header ever been scheduled where the second game of the two gets moved up to the sooner date?
  15. Gah. Beaten at my own game. On a serious note, I'm not from the state, I figured someone would be able to just chime in and answer. Thanks for providing me the lazy man's link though
  16. What is the weather forecast actually supposed to be like? Will the bulk of the snow have fallen by Friday and they just need to keep it cleared off or what?
  17. I directly went to page 4 to read through and I had to do a double take that this was a Buxton's Hot Start thread. Haha.
  18. For a positive view on it, he did get us one game closer to a better draft pick.
  19. Wow. Impressive research. Thanks for taking the time.
  20. Finally, the 12 year olds have come out of the cracks!
  21. This whole series has been pathetic. Looking in the direction of the offense.
  22. Lev touched on it pretty well. They actually offer more perks then just $15 for the BP experience. The MLB Audio option is $10 alone (or at least used to be, if it hasn't gone up more)..along with the other discounts etc that the card you would be purchasing would give you. As far as the Braves' option that they offer - it may be more expensive, but that is just entering a complete apples to oranges comparison, being directly behind players on the field.
  23. I do believe that is the more logical argument here - why he stayed in with a guy on third in a one run game.
  24. Howard has some good insight on the matter on the Strib site. Particularly, I find the Red Sox $15 deal to be pretty enticing if the Twins actualy did something like that. www.startribune.com/sports/twins
  25. Yeah this smug 'learn the game' stuff all while KC lets the tying run on third with less than two outs. Ok then. Not to mention, you let your young guys take the lumps to learn. Not a guy in his early 30's that is what he is. Even if you let the run score, you are looking at a tie game going into the ninth, and probably playing extras. Instead, we are down 2 going into the ninth. But I guess we should all go learn the game and keep a pitcher that is allergic to strikeouts in the game with a runner on third with a one run lead. Games in April don't count as much as games in August anyway.
