I actually went out and got the car all loaded up. And, surprise surprise, everything fit ... with a little ingenuity and a lot of determination!

Dad had me out there when I was 15 and said 'Everyone should know how to drive a stick whether or not it's what you drive.' Even though I got my license using my mom's car (an automatic) driving a stick was just too much fun and I've never had anything else. But with my recent foot issues and driving in lots of slo-go traffic, it's gotten tiring. But since I'm years away from a new car no need t make that choice yet.

A couple times on this trip I tried to push on the clutch and reached for that auto shift stick. Good thing I caught myself before shifting. That would NOT have been good.

Lol. It's a fun car to drive. Corners like nothing else. Truckers laugh at me when I zip by with the top down and wave. (To be clear that's the *car* top and not mine.)
