  1. i'll get flamed for saying this, but I don't think we are a very mentally tough team. or even physically at this point. someone is held out every game with a "mild" whatever. maybe that's just modern baseball or whatever. hitting with RISP is a mental thing as much as physical. so is making big pitches. just seem like an overall meek club
  2. they should have a moment of silence for those of us who choose to watch this bunk
  3. what's happened to almost everyone who won 101 games in 2019
  4. how many more innings would we have to play for this junk offense to score at least 3 runs
  5. well, yeah, but one of "big gun" starters wilted to start it off
  6. man, it was 6-0 in the 6th inning on sunday and it's been total garbage ever since.
  7. If maeda is broken, boy this is gonna be a loooong year
  8. Literally every move imaginable in baseball history has worked before, but I’d rather go with some form of Rogers, Duffy, alcala or Robles over a third inning of dobnak. Tomorrow’s DH has two 7 inning games. And both starters routinely pitch into the 6th
  9. Much of that 91 team had a ring already. This bunch (and that’s management as well as players) need to win a single playoff game before we compare them to a world champ
  10. the twins need to make in-game management a social justice issue. that way Rocco will be all over it
  11. I'm only in my 30's but the only WPA i've ever heard of was part of FDR's New Deal
  12. seems as though the twins offense observed 8 innings of silence this afternoon
  13. I think it’s a fair question to ask why we used a long reliever into the 8th inning of a tie game coming off an off day. Maybe nothing would have been different but why did we need to try and get 3 innings out of him?
  14. So many players had career years in 2019 offensively, I think it skewed our expectations. Polanco, garver, Kepler, sano...just not the same since. Throw in auto out cave and below avg austudillo and I guess 6-6 is to be expected
  15. Pretty much everyone having career years in ‘19 sullied our expectations
  16. Who had this being a possible losing homestand after Thursday?
  17. Alcala was two outs away from possibly being the new closer
