  1. Thoughts on McCarthy… He was set up to fail this season. I don’t fault the Vikings for drafting him. But the minute he was injured last season, he was going to start 2025 in the same spot as he left 2024. Standing around in street clothes with an ear piece in listening to the playcalling chatter will never be a substitute for live game action. Had he been able to suit up in games and practices last season, I think maybe he’s in a much better spot than he is right now. This was never going to go any other way than it has to this point. Ideally, if healthy, he could have had some garbage time mop up duty in the few blowouts we had last year. Just to get his feet wet. I’m a big believer in easing QBs into action. Remember, even mahomes sat the bench his first year in KC. Only 35 pass attempts in one game. But the injury kept JJ in arrested development. You also wonder what the team could have done had Darnold not completely turned into a pumpkin in those final two games. The Vikings almost had to move on, he was that shockingly bad. Or could they have brought him back on a one year deal and kept JJ as the backup, with a similar approach to what would have happened last season? I’m not as versed in the salary aspect as some here are, but it’s a shame Darnold played so poorly in those two big games. It would have been much more ideal to ease McCarthy in instead of what they chose to do, two primetime national TV games to start your career. Results have been not unexpected. Tall ask for anyone, especially a rookie with questionable talent. The injury is a blessing in poor disguise for the Vikings. This season, realistically, is a loss anyway. The Vikings are the third best team in the division, and that’s probably without all the injuries. Whatever wentz does is whatever. He’s probably not even been here long enough to know the playbook. At least he probably won’t be a deer in the headlights like McCarthy has been. The schedule, especially after the bye, is brutal. Not pulling the plug on McCarthy, but the 4 weeks off is probably for his own benefit. Doubt he’s on IR if he came in and played well Nick Mullens is backing up in Jacksonville, should have kept him! 😉😂
  2. Terrible swing Royce good comeback, made em sweat at least
  3. You don’t steal third on Mickey Gasper
  4. I really don’t think the Yankees fans would ever get over the humiliation of blowing a 9 run lead vs the twins
  5. Crowd more into this game than I’ve heard in weeks, obviously
  6. I can only imagine how bad the Pro-gasm was on that one. I thought it was gone
  7. Those were some of the worst swings I’ve ever seen there from outman
  8. Cmon. It was 10-1. Yankees would never recover from this
  9. Hatch’s job is to keep us from having to put in a position player to pitch. Nobody wants to see that
  10. Royce is like a wacky inflatable tube man when he swings
  11. Could you imagine if they came back and won this game?
  12. Not funny, but kind of funny how people have talked about Byron never stealing third. And he gets hurt doing it 😂
  13. This was a few years after chief started drinking
