    It stinks when you've been bad for the better part of 7 seasons and still don't really seem to have a blueprint for rebuilding.

    Oh, but didn't you hear? The boys got all bummed out when the FO decided to trade a few people after watching the team blow like 10 late leads in 6 weeks. They were really gutted and just can't muster the enthusiasm to finish out the last 60 games

    **** the clubhouse if they're demoralized. They did it to themselves by blowing easily a dozen very winnable games in the last month or so. The roster as it is is not good enough to compete.

    It was still the right decision. The wrong decision was having a guy on your roster who gives up a bomb to a career .194 hitting catcher. You're acting like berrios is rod carew.

    You can thank the archaic NL refusing to adopt the DH. Pitchers shouldn't be hitting in 2017, period. and everyone is trying to save their job, not just Paul.

    I told myself I wouldn't stay up to watch entire game. Now with the no hitter gone and the DP, I should probably go to bed. Can't stomach watching a loss to the padres

    Yep, caught stealing (and not sliding), apparently not knowing the count, then playing in the 3Bs back pocket with the tying run at first and two outs (to be fair, that's also on the coaching staff). This came on the heels of his performance Friday night, when he was thrown out at home after trying to score from second. Got a terrible read on the hit and then seemed to go about 80% around the bases. Let alone his penchant for throwing to the wrong bases. Dude needs to get his head out of his a**. He's hit well, but not nearly well enough to be a mental liability on the bases and in the field.

    He's gotten the pitches when he's needed to. Good thing bc otherwise he hasn't been good
