Stuck with two of the worst games of all time. Dallas Carolina and the giants and ravens. Surprised they haven’t switched off yet

In a choice between Tampa and the rams/seahawks in the wild card round, I’m all in on Tampa now. Gotta hope they lose but not enough to fall behind the falcons. Either one of those is a tough road game.

Daniel Jones’ greatest year of his career pales in comparison to what Darnold has already done though. Darnold already has almost double the TD passes that jones had in all of 2022. He’s already had more yards (with almost 100 fewer attempts), a higher completion percentage, higher passer rating, and more wins. Jones threw less picks and ran for more yards. I guess we’ll see how many playoff wins, if any, Darnold can accrue since jones had that one against us.

To be fair, he shouldered a big part of the blame for them not reaching the Super Bowl last season because of his aggressiveness. Not only during the NFCCG but also when he kept going for two last year in that game against Dallas late in the season. Had they won that game, they would have been the 1 seed and had home field advantage. I wouldn’t be shocked one bit if he costs them again by being overly aggressive. What he did against GB last week was silly and unnecessary.

Listening to the talking heads on sports radio (I know I know) today and people are starting to talk about the Vikings bringing darnold back. Colin cowherd backs the idea that sam MAY take a bit less money to stay in Minnesota. The idea being that he’s already played for rebuilding bad teams and it didn’t go well. With the unknown of McCarthy, I’m thinking more and more that the Vikings will make an effort to bring him back. He’s easily been top 10 overall this season.
