  1. And buxton was over eager too, but his worked out
  2. I might have done it there with Kepler to be honest. Another example of an over eager young guy trying to do too much
  3. nice piece of hitting by the other Eddie
  4. Eddie please don't expand the zone.
  5. Or his new cash for gold shop on Hennepin Ave
  6. Honestly they shouldn't be allowed to. What purpose does it serve? Couldn't you write it under the brim?
  7. I don't know but it's very distracting.
  8. We didn't even get a chance to see belisle attempt a save in YS. Imagine that nail biter. We saw what it used to do to Nathan. Yeesh. I still can't get over the number of innings the twins and Yankees were retired in order this series: twins 13 of 27 innings, the Yankees ONCE in 24 innings. That is sheer dominance, regardless of score.
  9. I don't disagree for the most part. The twins have largely gotten back into the race because of their weak schedule the past month. However, I think there is an intimidation/no confidence factor at play here. This is now 17 straight series losing seasons to the Yankees. 17. That's hard to do at any level in any sport. This Yankees team is comparatively much weaker than the dynasty years when the twins actually used to beat them. There's a bad vibe when we play them and it's discouraging how professional athletes can't overcome that in almost 2 decades.
  10. Fittingly, the Yankees have the most irritating sound effect in baseball. But the whistling goodbye suits us wel
  11. I really hope the twins tip their clubbies well. it's only right
  12. I think I did that in a video game once
  13. I cant imagine a scenario where Turley is on the roster next year
  14. Doesn't sound good listening on the radio. Hope whoever it is is ok. Why not just extend the nets to the poles at this point
  15. I can't say I agree. Our #1 got outpitched by a guy whose own manager essentially gave him a no confidence vote. Our #2 was outpitched by a mile against sabathia. The twins are better statistically on defense but have played very sloppy all series, partly IMO because there has been a guy on base literally EVERY INNING this series. We finally get to their ace and because we are so short staffed in the rotation, we have a soft throwing 45 year old in there grooving meatballs. Having sano would help power-wise, but he K's a ton. It's going to be hard to just find guys to fix the bullpen. Every team wants bullpen help
  16. It would also surely be sweet to date Jennifer Lawrence
  17. The talent disparity between the twins and the first wild card time is unsettling. Makes me think we're not a "year away"
  18. Hard to overstate how bad Bird has been all year, but he's having himself a series
  19. That's what I get for showing positivity once
