  1. Man Escobar has been roughhhh since that HBP. Darn shame our manager didn’t feel it necessary to retaliate that day
  2. I was surprised to find out this is the first time MLB has experimented with playing part of their schedule in the summer. Been a big failure if you ask me!
  3. Is there going to be a ballgame today or is it still too hot for our boys? You’ve gotta be kidding me, lol this is baseball, in the summer. It gets hot! So let’s see, we can’t play in April and parts of may because it’s too cold. We can’t play in July or August because it’s too hot. So we’ll start midway though may, play all of June (maybe) and then playoffs for September What a hoot!
  4. I’m not arguing that it was anything other than brutal. However, I don’t understand the loss of 3 players. Maybe the catcher I can understand. But Eddie and max too? This weather is far from an epic unusual occurrence in late June. Not for nothing, but I did play a 4 1/2 round today with air temps in the 90s
  5. Nonsense. Plus, players today are usually in much better physical condition than the players of old. At least judging by body physique. Also, conditioning practices have improved immensely. Think about how many places, like St. Louis, used to have artificial turf. This isn’t the first time it’s been hot on June 30
  6. Baseball was played for its first 75 or so years, entirely during the day, in the summer. These dudes are pro athletes, I can’t understand losing that many players due to heat illness.
  7. So no cubs have had to come out due to heat? What gives?
  8. Players dropping like flies. It’s almost like Baseball hasn’t been played in the summer for 150 years
  9. At least the answer is clear this year
  10. You might get a different aggies if we could stop stinking up the joint every year. Until then.
  11. I was on my way back from golfing when Mauer hit his double. Maybe I should go back in my truck. Heat stroke might be a better option
  12. Meet the new mejia, same as the old mejia.
  13. Things unravel so quickly with this team
  14. And you can see why as he missed strike 2 and 3 by 4”
