The skor north podcast talked about this the other day. Hitters coming up, doing well and then not adjusting to the adjustments made by the league. Concerning that the coaches apparently can’t figure that out, there are certainly enough of them. They said a lot of players are looking for and not getting any direction. Or is it a certain philosophy that they aren’t allowed to diverge from? How can David popkins get canned here and now have a top 5 offense in AVG and OPS? Either way, with a ton of prospects currently doing well in the minors, it’s unnerving to think that no changes have been made in on/off field management/philosophy yet and it doesn’t seem like they’re coming. Will the new crop of prospects be ruined too as we continue to hold on to the management that hasn’t produced results?
