    Dolphins-Bills halfway through the 4th. Crazy how quickly Mike McDaniel fell off Al Michaels says some crazy stuff. Was introducing Ryan Fitzpatrick and basically insulted him by bringing up the number of teams he’s played for and saying “you were no Jim Kelly” 😂

    All I meant by set up to fail is that it’s a lot to ask of a guy who hadn’t played a competitive game in 20 months to step in and give even an equal performance to what they got out of Darnold last year. It would have been remarkable had he stepped in and immediately performed even average. Not giving up on the guy in the least, I’m just not surprised it’s gone how it has.

    Honestly, the twins played them tough except for the one blowout. I am not super impressed with NY. Lots of hitting potential, but the pitching staff is mediocre. I’d be surprised to see them in the WS again.

    If you’d have told me we’d score 21 runs and the bullpen would only give up two runs, I’d have thought we’d win the series. Would have been nice to split the season series.

    Duran has a 0.79 whip with the Phillies. But he’s lost a tick on his fastball!

    Maybe that’s why they traded him. It was suggested that the Rays catchers are solely responsible for scouting hitters. Even if true, it’s a wild thing to say and do. Then again, it doesn’t seem like he really knows where his pitches are going.

    “Minnesota Twins pitcher Taj Bradley changed up his routine ahead of his start against the San Diego Padres on Saturday – he decided to study scouting reports for the first time. Bradley twirled a gem over five innings as he allowed one run on one hit and struck out six batters. However, the bullpen failed to maintain the lead as the offense fell flat. San Diego scored seven runs in the seventh and won the game 12-3. ”I just never did it at all," Bradley said, via the Star Tribune. "I was kind of out there blind the whole time. After my last outing, I had a lot of soft contact, so I figured now is the time. OK, get your head in the books, learn a bit about the hitters you’re going up against."
