  1. There's also more potential for growth with the Rays. They aren't locked into one location with zero development opportunities around it like the Twins are. The new owners could move the Rays wherever they want, own the stadium and the land around it and development everything. New hotels, restaurants, and businesses. That's where the real growth it and it's why Ishbia chose the White Sox as well. He's from there, but he also seems like a smart business person. If they move the White Sox from its current location to a place where they can develop around it, they stand to make significantly more money.
  2. Not sure what to make of this, but hopefully Manfred taking questions on this topic does actually mean a deal is moving forward.
  3. If the Twins trade Ryan, the return needs to be quality over quantity, and it needs to be for players who have spent significant time at either AA or AAA. I'd say a minimum of three top 100 players who are currently at AA or AAA. If teams aren't willing to give that up for a top of the rotation pitcher with basically three years of control, then they need to hold until him.
  4. Nice to see Rodriquez activated. Hopefully he can stay healthy and get an opportunity this season with the Twins.
  5. If Jenkins is still hitting like this by the beginning of August he should be promoted. No reason to keep him in AA.
  6. Tait is an 18 year old in A ball. He's hitting ok, especially for his age, but it likely 4 years away from the MLB. Phillies Top Prospects
  7. Crawford is who I would want the Twins to target in a trade with the Phillies. There's potential for him to play in the MLB this season.
  8. That came together very quickly... Unfortunate the Twins sale couldn't do that as well.
  9. What do you think a trade for Duran would cost? Rodriguez would likely be the headliner.
  10. No. Why would I ever want to do that? What a weird question to ask someone. Why would I ever hope a twins player gets injured.
  11. Prior to this season he's thrown a total of 58 innings across 5 years. They have to try and build his arm strength back up... It would be incredibly dumb to let him go out for 7 innings and 100 pitches each time out. It would have likely been back on the IL by now.
  12. Holland looks like he could be next in line to be called up. He was solid in 40+ games last year at AAA and is hitting well again since he's been back from injury.
  13. How are the Guardians 20-14 when they have a negative 23 run differential?? They have an expected W/L record of 15-19. Somethings got to give there.

  15. Strong start to the season for sure! Hopefully he continues to play well and gets a deserved promotion to AA in June.
  16. Has anyone heard an update on Walker Jenkins? I haven't seen anything since he went down with an ankle injury the 2nd game of the season.
  17. Anyone know why Castro was pinch hit for?
  18. Are they ever going to let Zebby pitch more than 5 innings? Only 71 pitches and strikes out the final three batters faced.
  19. It all depends on the return. I think the Twins should be taking all calls and seeing what the offers are. Can they get a legit catching prospect who's in AA or AAA? Can they get a middle of the order outfield bat? Those are the two position types I would consider in a trade.
  20. I'd rather the Twins use their pitching depth to trade for a good catching prospect than a bat only 1st basemen.
  21. If Lewis wants to be a third basemen and doesn't want to put in the work to play 2nd base, then he needs to stop making so many errors. He was NOT good at 3rd last season. Based on the smallish sample size Lee is the far superior fielder and thrower from 3rd base. It doesn't really matter to me who ends up where but if a player develops the yips from 3rd base and is unwilling to move to a different position to help the team then I don't want them on the Twins.
