    Question: Ortiz leads MLB with 31 doubles. Is it because he plays in Fenway or is he just an awesome hitter? Amazing...I would think a guy like Mauer would be in that category versus Ortiz. I don't think Ortiz has hit a ball to left field in 15+ years. They shift the entire defense on him every at bat.

    Thursday night I went to the Twins game with my sister from Miami. She has been a part of the MLB for 17 years. She told me something about baseball I had never thought of: Baseball is one of the only sports where the defense controls the ball and not the offense. She also mentioned that unfortunately the Twins this year are not controlling anything.
