  1. It sure feels like Berrios has grown a ton as a pitcher over the last calendar year. Even though it wasn't his best outing, he kept the team in the game. I'm feeling more confident he can be counted on as a top of the rotation pitcher dueling against other teams' aces. As others have mentioned, Belisle needs to go. He's been causing more damage than good things all season.
  2. Another thing we can bring up in this thread that could potentially make Chi's head explode: Ish vs. Ick. Discuss.
  3. I believe you spelled Forth wrong. What is it with Canadians and adding u's to everything?!
  4. Just sitting here waiting for Chi to show up... http://wac.450f.edgecastcdn.net/80450F/thefw.com/files/2012/08/Michael-Jackson-Popcorn.gif
  5. Nah, it's just "your" on public forums/social media.
  6. What about pitching a perfect game in your softball league? That seems nearly impossible to do!
  7. I'm very excited to watch this pitching duel tonight!!
  8. For those that jumped off the bandwagon last Sunday, your seats were saved. Feel free to jump back on, and let's get PUMPED UP around here! On to the next one.
  9. Boy, I like Kintzler, but not sure if I like him enough to give him $7 MM a season...
  10. I don't know about Fister. The Angels are just as desperate for pitching as the Twins, and they didn't want to call him up. Sounds like he's just washed up.
  11. Concur. He's one of the few RPs left that has upside to be a good RP in the MLB.
  12. That's a good choice! I admitted this in a previous game thread, but my guilty pleasure is watching The Property Brothers on HGTV! Perfect mindless TV while cooking, cleaning, etc. around the apartment.
  13. My head is down on my desk in shame for missing this...
  14. Bachelorette? http://cdn.inquisitr.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/05/bachelorette-rachel-lindsay.jpg
  15. Man, I didn't realize Rosario was that much of a liability out there in LF... He didn't provide positive value in the field last season either. Goes to show if you have one good year in the field, your reputation masks the real story.
  16. Who said anything about professional?! This analogy is for amateurs playing cricket who may or may not be inebriated at the bar.
  17. If anything, it reaffirms to me that Rosario is a very capable 4th OF, but not a starting corner OF for a contending team. This will most likely be his last full season as a starter if the Twins are serious about contending next year.
  18. And really, he can't be much worse than Belisle. I'd also take a flyer on him for the rest of the season.
  19. It's been a couple of years since he was good. Oh well, they need to keep throwing darts at the board.
  20. Ah good call. Forgot about Vargas being a AA call up. And I've erased all memories of Parmelee from my mind.
  21. Sigh... remember when Jay was a top 5, even top 3-ish prospect in the organization?
  22. Considering the lack of talent being called up to the MLB from Rochester, there should be a lot of fat to trim on the team.
  23. Yeah I agree... Other than Mauer and Sano, who were the cream of the crop elite prospects, I can't think of other prospects in this organization who have immediate MLB success from AA. Gordon is good and could be great, but he's not an ELITE prospect IMO.
