  1. $12 million for Santana. Good for him. That’s over our budget by about $22 million.
  2. Trading Lopez will bring back the most value and relieve the most amount of cash. Baltimore would be the first team I call when Corbin Burnes signs elsewhere.
  3. Sing it from the mountain top. I wanted him to be in the cellar of the league the rest of his career
  4. The difference being that instead of 3 sections at Target Field, it will be implemented throughout the stadium with a couple of loss leader products. At a baseball game that should be hot dogs, bottled water, peanuts, popcorn, etc. I appreciate the Pentair (TM) water refill station and the water fountains but that’s pushing out lukecold (if that’s a word) water in the summer time.
  5. Smart. He still relieves the most salary and brings the highest return given how expensive starting pitching is. We are subjected to whatever Falvey thinks he is worth. Any team in the AL East makes sense. I still think Baltimore, especially after they lose Burnes.
  6. Max Kepler 1/$10 million to the Phillies. Philadelphia has been trying to dump Nick Castellanos’ contract since the offseason began. Kepler likely the starting RF for a WS contending team.
  7. Incredible. Imagine if Falvey made a trade and Joe Pohlad said “Hold on partner. Have you seen his rating on MLB the Show?”
  8. That’s all a good thing. The Pohlads and particularly Dave St Peter are awful at marketing and revenue generation. The Twins have a big problem getting butts in seats at Target Field. Take the short term loss to build up the brand again.
  9. Kirk’s not gonna play ball with a trade. Full no trade clause. He’s gonna force Atlanta to eat $65 million next year and find another team to play for. “One thing is certain: Cousins continues to build his first-ballot Business Hall of Fame resume”
  10. An ownership group that understands value in goodwill for fans. What a crazy concept
  11. I'm not dancing on his grave either. But at this point his career is probably over. If he can't trust his right foot again then he's toast.
  12. I definitely had a love/hate relationship with Kirko during his time in MN. I couldn’t stand him when he was QB in the Zimmer era. Zimmer made it very clear he didn’t want Kirk from day 1. I grew to like Kirk under KOC. For the first time in Kirk’s career, he finally started taking more aggressive chances with his throws. Once he blew out his achilles I didn’t want anything to do with him anymore.
  13. The Kirko era in Atlanta is over
  14. I’ve also heard from a friend of a friend’s ex girlfriend that went on a date with both of the brothers… They went to a steakhouse and ordered it well done.
  15. This year is pretty comparable to our last 2 deep playoff runs. But you’re correct, 1998 was a different level. Through 14 games, the 98 Vikes had a +210 point differential
  16. Really poor grades for the OL last night. Robinsons worst game by far. Brandel doesn’t look like a starting caliber player in the league. I can’t wait to get rid of Bradbury.
  17. Kirk is cooked
  18. Congrats Bears! You scored a TD!
  19. My god Williams is terrible
  20. And that’s why he’s out of sight out of mind at RB these days. Dude can’t block to save his life
  21. OL, particularly Robinson, continuing to have a rough night
  22. Delayed I guess. I would have thrown him in there now it’s over
  23. Mullens time
  24. Hello Dallas Turner! Long time no see
  25. Throw in the backups this game is over
