    Never forget, the Bears and Vikings hired their GMs at the same time. Poles tore it all down and Kwesi went with the competitive rebuild. I think we know which plan was better.

    With Black Monday tomorrow, here are my predictions who will get fired… Open positions: Saints, Jets, Bears Highly likely to get fired: - Brian Daboll NYG - Doug Pederson JAX - Antonio Pierce LV Their teams gave up on these coaches weeks ago. They just played out the tank. Wouldn’t surprise me: - Shane Steichen IND - they’ve been playing pathetic football to end the season and Anthony Richardson looks ruined under him. - Jerod Mayo NE - He hasn’t gotten a real opportunity but all the reports are indicating they’re moving on from him after 1 year

    SSS alert. The Jets have the worst record in a 162 game NFL season with a 54-108 record. The 2024 White Sox are blushing. Maybe we have been too hard on the Vikings, they are a 96 win team!

    The Gophers have quietly won 8 straight bowl games. Most years finishing with 8-9 wins which is respectable in the big 10. Especially now with 18 teams. Fleck has been holding up his end of the deal. Getting a player or two drafted, sometimes high in the NFL draft, and keeping the program relevant. It's a shame that Max Brosmer was only eligible to play 1 year here. I haven't seen good QB play with the Gophers in my lifetime. Hopefully Fleck strikes gold again in the transfer portal.

    Gophers looking good in the Duke’s Mayo Bowl! It really is unfortunate Max Brosmer is only a 1 year rental at QB. He’s the best QB I’ve seen in a Gopher uniform… Ever? Not since Adam Weber I guess.

    I think Notre Dame is just as smug, if not more, than SEC teams. Their basketball team plays in the ACC, hockey team in the big 10, but choose to remain independent in football so they can pick cupcakes to play to inflate their record. They suck.

    McCarthy turns 22 years old on January 20th. We don’t have to rush into anything with him. Teams will definitely call for him when we extend Darnold, and Kwesi should listen. But the other team will need to blow us away with their offer. Premium prices for a QB
