    I should have said "if they turned it down". But I think I'm going to give Dave the benefit of the doubt. He seems legit.

    Monumental mistake turning down JDL and Alvarez. Franchise altering mistake. And now it would appear that offer is off the table. Very reminiscent of the Santana trade. Turning down excellent offers from the Yankees and redsox trying to get them in a bidding war, then both teams backing out and having to settle for the Mets offer.

    At the least, I'd like to see Albers & Diamond swapped so Diamond can go down and work on HIS inconsistencies. But he's Gardy's pet so he aint going anywhere.

    Has the rebuild even started yet? Does Ryan even understand the meaning of rebuilding? Why is morneau still on this team? Apologies to Ryan if he does the right thing and purges this roster by July 31, but I dont see it happening. The post July 31 lineup SHOULD be: 1. CF Hicks 2. 1B Mauer 3. LF Arcia 4. 3B Plouffe 5. DH Parmelee 6. C Pinto 7. RF Benson (I'm still floored) 8. 2B Dozier 9. SS Florimon

    Mauer ended up getting on anyway. They loaded the bases with nobody out and somehow managed not to score. Yet Twins fans still blame Cuzzi. So typical Minnesotan.

    Physically, there's nothing to him. Skin and bones. I think he's sick. Either that or he quit pumping iron and his body has just shriveled up. He used to be a physical specimen.

    Diamond's pattern has been 1 good start 2 bad starts. Send him down. They're undoubtedly showcasing Pelph. Deduno has pitched well. Walters and Correia have been good. Diamond should be the odd man out. Let him correct his issues in AAA.

    Couldnt agree more. They aint making the playoffs. Get the kids in the lineup even if they're playing out of position.

    No question. Pulling diamond was dumb. Diamond probably said he was gassed. Thats one of my many beefs with gardy. He doesnt call the shots, the players do. I still think gardys made an effort to get more innings from his starters, its just not so easy being they're all so terrible.
