  1. Like Escobar did with bases loaded earlier.
  2. Just info about plate apperances with RISP that's been discussed throughout this game thread. Info told from announcers other than ours.
  3. Snell is not the only Rays pitcher drafted by the Rays and more than one of their pitchers have never been in another organization besides the Rays. So at least four, off the top of my head. Two starters, two relievers. Three of the four drafted, the other an amateur FA signing.
  4. Didn't he already have a clutch RBI hit in today's game?
  5. Indian announcers get a bit premature on hard hit fly balls too. He thought for sure that one was gone :-)
  6. Would y'all have pulled Centeno for Escobar?
  7. ah. seem to be doing fine without.
  8. Cleveland announcers were saying how poorly the Twins do with RISP. Said main reason was chasing too many pitches outside of the strike zone (being too aggressive) instead of being patient.
  9. Why would the pitcher give him anything hitable to swing at?
  10. Bauer is gonna get pulled after Mauer
  11. He loses the ball due to the ball colored dome cover, like Jacque used to do. Oh, wait.
  12. YES!!! (talking about the hit to knock in Rosario)
  13. Pretty sure I said nothing of the sort. Pretty sure I didn't even imply that. Pretty sure I was talking about that specific plate appearance and nothing more, but keep building that strawman.
  14. And my opinion is that when the pitcher can't find the strike zone at all (with pitches all over the place), and it's at 3-0, I wanna make sure he can even get a ball close to the zone before I go swinging. He did it once and then it was way low on pitch 5. Now, if he watches two or three strikes in that situation and strikes out, I'm all over him for that.
  15. Like listening to Tom Kelly in the booth? :-)
