Cleveland Announcer: "When Joe Mauer and his wife started their family, of course they had twins. Literally." As opposed to having twins figuratively? How would one have twins figuratively?
Listening to the Cleveland broadcast, and got this gem; "When Kyle Gibson gets ahead, he doesn't attack the zone, he becomes Mr. Nibbles". I have never been so sure of anything in my life as I am sure that I will forevermore refer to Kyle Gibson as Mr. Nibbles.
Not really, CR had Palacios and Davis earlier in the year, they're now in Fort Myers. And there's a ton of guys doing really well in E-Town right now who will be ready for Low A next year.
Doesn't change the fact he didn't know about it until last night, and with no open spot on the 25 man, would need to get rid of someone. Falvine have done some questionable things this year, but I don't particularly think this is one of them.
I mean, to be fair to Falvey, he didn't know Sano was hurt until last night, and didn't know the full extent until this morning. Unless you're saying Falvey is the reincarnation of Ms. Cleo.
Very encouraging start from Royce Lewis. At this point, it seems unlikely he would be promoted to E-Town, which makes me wonder; will he start in E-Town next year, or will the Twins challenge him, and move him right to Low A?
Danny lets us know that Perez has made all of his starts this year. Good to know he's not using a proxy. He proceeded to go out on a limb, and state that he believes the Twins will get more hits tonight than the 3 they got last night.
When I looked the other night, there were 13 worse. They could quite easily get behind 6 of those, and maybe a couple more. The goal should definitely be top ten pick.
Although being that this is baseball, I'm sure Gimenez will now proceed to go 2-3 with a walk, HR and 4 RBI tonight while throwing out 3 potential base stealers.
