  1. Well, that's the one thing he does. But, yeah, I don't see Pitt winning this one.
  2. 6.5? Wow. I have no idea where he's likely to go - the best case scenario for anyone would seem to be the Rams and sit for a year.
  3. Happy for Kendricks but really thought Philly would win.
  4. SF looking pretty good
  5. I really hoped the jags would pull it off. Good game
  6. Yeah, it swung too far
  7. I think the Rams aren't as good as advertised, they aren't to the Super Bowl. And they are really going to suffer once Stafford is gone. Bryce Young played better than I thought he could. I haven't seen a lot of him this year but he made a few really good throws and used his legs well. He's only 24. I don't think he'll turn into a top 5 QB but maybe, in his best year, he could be a top 10 who might occasionally outplay an opponent. (The opposite of Jordan Love). Speaking of Love, uff-da. 4 TD passes, a 103 rating, no interceptions and yet, something wasn't right. GB forums are calling him the new Cousins. That's really not fair but GB ends on a five game losing streak so I'm happy. Bears will not win next week.
  8. That was not a good defensive stand there. Wow.
  9. I would have bet the farm on the Rams. But I never gamble.
  10. This game is why 1) the NFL is the best sports league hands down, 2) why Vegas always wins.
  11. The idea of the packers losing five straight, including to the bears in the playoffs, would be awesome.
  12. Will miss you, buddy. Hope all is well. Reach out if you need anything.
  13. Interesting to read other views of Flores. https://www.baltimorebeatdown.com/baltimore-ravens-analysis/79651/ravens-request-to-interview-vikings-dc-brian-flores#comments https://www.silverandblackpride.com/las-vegas-raiders-rumors/119643/raiders-tom-brady-brian-flores-candidate#comments https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/ryan-fitzpatrick-warns-teams-hiring-164535379.html
  14. Jones has a nice little resume for Dallas. I think if he leaves us, that's the most likely scenario. But I think if Flores goes, he gets promoted to our DC.
  15. I think you're right but I'm hoping for a slide. I think how Starks and Ennumari (sp) slipped last year is good for that argument. The fact that both would clearly be drafted higher in a re-draft might make teams change their approach. Styles might slip b/c some teams might not see him as a fit for their LB scheme - he's too small as a converted safety or not a natural pass-rusher like some other options. I think the third Ohio State defender who will likely go in the 1st round (how did they lose two games?), McDonald, would be a good fit but I honestly don't know much about him. But by size and the few write ups I've seen, he seems like a real NT who can anchor the line as a run stopper.
  16. Could be. But could also be because of the trauma ICE is inflicting on the cities.
  17. And Dolphins fire Mike McDaniel. I don't think he'll get another HC job right away but some team will want him as a coordinator.
  18. Flores will be interviewed by the Ravens. https://www.dailynorseman.com/minnesota-vikings-2025-season/94445/baltimore-ravens-interview-brian-flores-head-coaching-job-minnesota-vikings Potentially a really good fit - he could really maximize Starks - but they also might want an offensive minded coach to make the offense more modern.
  19. One of the reasons I think he doesn't do a lateral move is that if he stays here, he has been constructing his defense with his players for several years, so it's likely it'll stay a good defense. If he goes to Dallas and the defense sucks b/c you can't fix everything in a year, owners can be like "he's not a good coordinator anymore". But if he stays, he can rightly show that his level of success as a coordinator has never not lead to a HC job before (lawyers hire experts to make claims like that).
