    I don't hate Lewis on a personal level. He seems like a great pick but I don't see why we'd take a HS guy in this draft. And I doubt he'd take a huge discount as a Boras guy. So why do we pass on guys who might be able to help the current core?

    Well, if the report that the scouts wanted Lewis and analytics wanted McKay is true, it means that Falvey is getting swayed by his scouts. I mean, maybe Lewis is the next Jeter but this seems like a bad pick for the Twins.

    But someone is going to fall regardless. I don't want to go cheap at 1/1 just so I can get the #29 guy at 35. Top guys tumble on their own - Hudson, Buehler, Funkhowser, etc.
