  1. Took till the top of the 1st, 1 out for Margot to come up in an RBI situation too. .161/.241/.239
  2. Yeah, a game thread about today's game is no place to discuss today's lineup.
  3. Would'a been nice if Margot could have managed a sac fly.
  4. That **** ALWAYS worked against us in Legion Ball.
  5. Pretty big fan of 1st inning runs. I know, controversial.
  6. Quite the range. I"m guessing 4 isn't field view.
  7. He hasn't been "10-15% better than league average" against RH pitching. His career OPS+ vs RH pitching is 107. And he was below average against RH pitching his first 2 years in MLB. He's not down much this year from his overall career numbers. Maybe this is close to what he is.
  8. If a topic is "hot," it'll stay at the top. It's called "Twins Daily." Most people are more interested in yesterday's game than a "good conversation."
  9. Julien did yield. He pulled off because Martin called it. But Martin was late. That dropped popup was 100 percent on Martin.
  10. Not to downplay a 3 run double...well heck, ima downplay a 3 run double. It was a ground ball. Not a liner to the gap. A few feet to the right, it's an inning ender. It certainly counts, and he did make fairly hard contact, but in my estimation it's no sign of markedly better hitting.
  11. Hahaha. Probably posted this before, but...I was at that game. We had seats in the upper deck between home and first, and we clearly saw the Emory board go flying. Good times.
  12. ? The only thing I'd consider lucky about Lopez today was Seattle's luck on the only run they got off Lopez. That run happened because Martin can't catch a popup. Lopez looked pretty outstanding to me. Also, Correa had the day off today.
  13. 7-13 when we woke up Monday, April 22. 22-15 as we go to sleep tonight, May 9. As JMLease put it, "Baseball is a funny game."
  14. 5-2 homestand vs Boston and Seattle is quite acceptable. 7-13 when we woke up Monday, April 21. 22-15 as we go to sleep Thursday, May 9. Unreal.
  15. HEEEEE struck him out and this one is over. winnah!
  16. yes. Geez, put it on a tee for me whydontcha?
  17. I really do not understand the logic here.
  18. Ah, the infamous drive-by negativity in game threads people always bitch about. Welcome aboard.
  19. Meanwhile, Funderburk's famous command and control on display.
  20. Gonna have to agree to disagree, friend. IMO...horrible trade. There's a high probability the 2024 Twins get zero from this deal. Worse than zero, they dedicated a rotation spot to Desclafani in this trade, and called it good. YMMV, of course, but for me a 20 yr old outfielder playing well at high-A isn't even worth mentioning.
  21. That was a blast. Who are you, and what have you done with Max Kepler?
  22. Not sure I agree with you a hundred percent on your detective work, there, mmm
