  1. Its Funder in the 9th inning, I tell you its frightening.
  2. No. Wally Pipp was a hell of a player. Led the AL in HRs twice. Won a WS. Lee is like approximately 10000 other minor leaguers who got a chance in MLB and couldn't hang.
  3. Detroit scored 6. We scored 2. seems fairly obvious.
  4. A true turning point in Twins history and the day I came to the conslusion Rocco Baldelli must go. The Twins entered play that day 70-53. The Alcala disaster led to a 12-27 finish. The Twins have gone a combined 87-125 since that fateful day
  5. In this case, maybe Shelton's way of staying out of a DP. .. Hahahahaj
  6. Dont like our chances against this guy. Nobody ***** with de Jesus.
  7. Took my granddaughter to the zoo earlier today. We came upon a French baguette in a cage. She asked me "What is that, Grandpa?" "Well sweetie, that's bread in captivity."
  8. "You should never challenge the ABS thing when you think you might be wrong." -- also Yogi Berra
  9. I don't see many people complaining about "empty HRs." Plenty of people look past the occasional long ball and see how little he has been adding outside those rare dingers. Others look at the decent SLG, and ignore everything else. Meanwhile, the Twins struggle to score runs. SOMEbody shares some responsibility.
  10. Who? Specifically? You cant just throw these theories out there and then push back every time someone brings up an actual name. The actual names are what matters. None of this makes much sense anyway. You want to "utilize all 13 to find the 9." Then what? Keep utilizing all 13, even after finding the 9? The Twins are losing because their front line players, on the whole, suffer in comparison to other teams players. The Twins need better players. Giving more playing time to even worse players isnt going to help win more games. And yes, we already know Outman is an even worse player. So is Gray. So is Clemens. I have zero problem stating the Twins need a better bench, but first they need a better starting 9. The problem isn't "utilization." If anything the Twins over-utilize their bench. The problem is talent.
  11. There's not a single player in MLB history whose career is determined by one PA. Conversely, every single PA is, and should be, part of determining that career. A player should put maximum effort and concentration into everything he does on the field. All game. Every game.
  12. As posted, Jeffers has 0 passed balls, 4 wild pitches so far in 2026. I gave a link to the appropriate BBR page
