    He reached because Martin's throw bounced. He has to go catch the bounce. It was a terrible play by Martin. The ball was hit crisply and if he just comes up throwing, as he's supposed to do, and makes any kind of reasonable throw, he gets the runner fairly easily. Make the plays. Get the out on the grounded to short that Castro can't convert. Catch the friggin' popped up bunt. And with the infield in, convert the absolute perfect one upper to second into an out. But the Twins operate under the theory none of that matters. Nobody has a position, outside catcher. Anybody can play anywhere. Sometimes, you get what you plan for.

    I think you're confused on which manager can't wait to get his RH relievers back in the game once Rocco removes all his LH hitters.

    Sure glad Rocco managed himself into yet another "all my best hitters are out of the game" corner for the umpteenth time. We need a MLB manager.

    The Twins operate under the premise "anybody can play anywhere." Nobody learns a position in the minors. There are some benefits to this, I guess. Flexibility. But it sure leads to sloppy baseball, particularly in the infield. I miss the days when players were expected to know how to play before they got to the big leagues.

    Stewart has about 4 months of good MLB relief work in his career. Total. I want him back, but he's a crapshoot.
