  1. Umm, Paul Molitor calling for a bunt on 2 strikes? No.
  2. Twins fans laughing their heads off at Cole Hamels
  3. if you're going there, pickup a burrito for me. WereChoos give me gas.
  4. Gibson just not looking good tonight...
  5. At two dollars Hole? Thanks for clearing that up.
  6. Hamels now up to 72 pitches at end of 3rd. Keep up the good work!
  7. I thought you couldn't say @$$ here.
  8. Shih Tzu's are cute dogs. Don't know why that just popped into my head...
  9. Nunez "singles", Suzuki scores. Tie Game!!
  10. Watch out Hamels: here come's Suzuki
  11. What the heck happened to Buxton there??
  12. Too bad Twins didn't score. Would have been icing on the cake.
  13. Hamels has thrown 28 pitches so far in the 1st inning Coach on his way to the mound. Hamels fears Twins !!
  14. So, what is it? Happy / Not Happy that Buxton is doing better? He's making more contact, less swinging strikes. More contact leads to more hits. He's getting better at working the count [see last nights game] and walks will follow. It's called progress, people.
  15. "played both sides of the ball in college." A ball is round. There are no sides :-) Saw a couple of his appearances in Spring Training. It's not just heat, it's easy heat. Forget about the MLB debut. Stuff happens. I'd give strong consideration to working Chargois into the Twins bullpen after the AllStar break.
  16. Uh, Santana was just coming off an 80 game suspension last year. I believe he had a couple MiLB starts as a tune up. I also think his last 7 starts of last year were more euphoria than just 'getting warmed up'
  17. Santana's slow starts are pretty easy to explain: He's from the Dominican Republic. Early season in Minnesota and anywhere north of the Mason-Dixon line is gonna be cold. As the temps warm up, so does Santana. Too early to even think of trading Ervin. One really good start may cause reminiscing of last years 5-1 finish, but that was last year. I'd have to see 2-3 more starts similar to this last one before I'd gauge the market. Subtracting Santana while still having Nolasco and Hughes on the roster seems like a pretty bad idea to me. Granted, Hughes is coming off surgery, but making a decision on those 2 seems like a higher priority to me.
