    Those two have been simmering for a bit. Orioles hit Judge in the hand in the last series. The pitch by Holmes that got Kjerrstad was pretty unfortunate since it got him in the ear flap. Hyde must have heard something to cause him to start pointing at the Yankees dugout and yelling at them. If he doesn't go after them like that, nothing happens. That should make for some fun at bats in tomorrow's game.

    I'd go Morneau 1 and Perkins 2 with Hawkins a distant 3rd. But I think the broadcasts pop more when it's a 3-man booth and you have Morneau with one of the pitchers because then they can get into more strategy and counterpoints because of their differing focus. However, you can't have both pitchers on at the same time and you can't have both Morneau & Span on at the same time (prefer they keep Span off completely as he didn't bring much in the Chicago series and his pointing out of Marney's mistake on Pablo's name was really awkward) because then you get just one side of the matchup's perspective.

    Break glass option. If the Twins had used a bunch of relievers in Game 1 similar to the extra inning game the other night, then you at least have another longhaul arm in the pen that can eat innings if necessary.
