    Yes, that was the Twins game against the Mariners a couple weeks ago when the M's decided to sit Raleigh but have him DH, which can be a fool's errand when you use the only 2 players you have at a position in the lineup at the same time.

    Except they didn't need a catcher. Vazqy caught last night and Jeffers is there today. If you lose an infielder, you have to replace with an infielder. And as I said earlier in the thread, the over/under on Camargo innings played is 2 1/2.

    Have a feeling he's dinged from the wall crash last night. Hopefully available to PH

    Correa had to be scratched due to a heel contusion so that's why our power-hitting catcher is anchoring 3rd base. Miranda still out with the back stiffness. Just makes the decision to choose Camargo incredibly puzzling.

    And then there's the seeing-eye shot thru SWR and away from other gloves. Luck factor in SF not great so far on this trip.

    Some pretty good contact throughout this game but right at people. Lee with another one that finds leather instead of grass.

    This Bailey guy has been pretty brutal behind the plate for SF in these 2 games.

    Phillies getting 11 runs on the A's isn't all that crazy. The egg they laid on offense last night was pretty kooky though.

    Well here comes the fun: Correa scratched due to a heel contusion. Lee moves to 2nd, Castro to short. Your starting 3rd baseman?? Christian Vazquez. Get the popcorn ready!!

    The Miranda soreness makes the decision to bring up Camargo look really dumb. Now, you've hamstrung yourself all over the field because Castro has to play 2B/3B instead of being in the outfield. What's the over/under on innings played by Camargo over these next 2 days, like 2 1/2? Now...if Julien is getting close to using up all of his options by coming up for a weekend and then going back at the end of the ASB, I can understand keeping him in StP.

    Ever been to San Fran at this time of year let alone a game at that park during this time of year? I went once during Father's Day Weekend and I was dressed like I was going to a Penn State game in November. Didn't help that I also took a ferry ride to the ballpark from Oakland.

    Only guys I could see doing it would be Judge or a peak Piazza. They have/had some really good opposite field power. Only guy for the Twins I could see possibly doing it would be Correa.

    I think he mistimed his reach by a step. If he's able to take one more step and then reach, he gets it. Whether he holds on to it through the crash at the wall is another thing.

    Don't think you can assume a DP on the Lee play but his throw certainly made it obvious it wasn't going to happen. So I'd cut a pass on that one.
