    I'm gonna need an explanation on why we send the runner back to 1st because the batter made contact with the catcher yet the batter is allowed to continue his turn at-bat. If you're calling interference there, the inning is over.

    For a team that allegedly has good numbers against LHP, they face a number of starts who make them look positively impotent at the plate.

    Was hoping Swanson's wife would be the only one in the family to have athletic success today. However, not sure what our outfielders were doing there. Plays like that make you miss Buxton that much more. The audition is done for Dobnak. He's not an MLB pitcher.

    Larnach needs to be on the bench for that one. Why do you stop?? And in seeing that, how does Watkins send him? Simple things like baserunning lack on this team way too often. It's those margins that we have talked about often.

    This weekend was a classic case of a thank goodness we were playing this team because the hitting was brutal on Friday night (until the 8th) but because it was the Sox and Ryan was pitching, there wasn't any consternation. Today was a horrid pitching effort all the way through the lineup (except for Okert's one batter, amazingly) but because it's the Sox, there wasn't much of a worry because the hitting was working. Enjoy the sweep and now let's take out the other Chicago team. Meanwhile, how have the Guards lost 5 games to this outfit?

    I don't think the Bally's box is accurate. The high edge is below the belt and the inside/outside edges are barely on the black. Most umpires are gonna give a half to full ball on those edges.

    8th inning, fine. 6th was a bit early, especially since he was due to lead off. They reel off runs in the bottom half then ok, roll the dice. But bring Lee in instead and put him at short to move Castro to CF.
