  1. Miranda is making me miss Sano's defense....
  2. Wow. I don't know if I've ever seen that before. So unlucky. At least we're back into this, and we should be getting 5 innings against a poor bullpen.
  3. I can't believe the O's are letting one of their promising arms throw 40 pitches in an inning. Just silly.
  4. Gordon! This is what a good team does after giving up a big inning.
  5. Larnach hit that ball 110.6 MPH. Crushed.
  6. The Twins aren't out of this, but Miranda's error really hurts.
  7. Yeah. I think Archer has potential to be an actual weapon as a semi-high leverage multi-inning reliever come the latter part of the season with a (hopefully) healthy rotation of Gray-Ryan-Ober-Maeda-Winder/trade deadline pickup. There is almost zero chance Archer has any shot at starting a playoff game, but there is a chance he can make an impact out of the pen. However, I don't think Bundy has any sort of chance to have his stuff play up out of the bullpen and you're simply looking at $5M long-man.
  8. Think this is going to be similar to his last start. The Twins are pretty much out of this one, but they gotta save the bullpen now. They don't really have a long man in the pen with Winder going to the rotation, unless you're going to ask Jax to go back to that role.
  9. My goodness. As good as Bundy was his first few starts, you're seeing his faults now. He isn't a very good pitcher, and he isn't getting outs right now. Just tough.
  10. Would've been really big to hold the O's to 3. The Twins are still capable of coming back, but they can't afford to give up any more runs.
  11. Bundy's defense is doing him now favors.
  12. Urshella's bat has really gone cold. Still getting on base at a decent clip, but he isn't driving the ball at all. Only 2 XBH on the year. And man, is he slow.
  13. Not sure I'd go that far. He's a bad hitter, nor has he really flashed the ability to steal bags. He does seem to be learning the OF quickly, but he's nothing more than a 5th OF/emergency MIF. I would be surprised if he survives the roster through the trade deadline.
  14. What a play Nick Gordon! Larnach does not catch that ball.
  15. I think he's looking for off-speed stuff so much when he's behind in the count because he knows what the numbers say, and that a pitcher is likely gonna spam off-speed with 2 strikes, and then gets locked up with the fastball when they throw one instead. It's understandable to take that approach, but frustrating at times.
  16. Bit late with my prediction, but I don't like it tonight for some reason. Bundy hasn't gotten swings and misses this year, and the O's haven't swung and missed much this series. Combine that with our "B" lineup, and I see a struggle bus tonight. O's 5, Twins 2
  17. 2 days in a row for Correa. Great job getting to the ball, but probably should've eaten that one.
  18. tWINs! The lineup got to the bullpen, and did enough to a pitcher with good results thus far. Ryan was far from his sharpest, but held a bad lineup to only two runs. The bullpen was nearly perfect once again, and the defense didn't snowball on them like we've seen in the past. Nice to win the first two. Winning 3 of 4 is the expectation, and it would be nice to take care of that tomorrow. I'm interested to see how Bundy looks in his return and coming off of a rougher outing against a lineup that hasn't swung and missed a ton. Until tomorrow, Enjoy your chicken!
  19. This is how you beat bad teams. They aren't always going to have poor starters, but they are almost always going to have terrible bullpens. Adding on is what good teams do, and that's what the Twins have done. Good to see
  20. And Correa has himself another multi-hit game.
  21. I don't think you can call that a catch. It certainly wasn't on the transfer.
  22. Correa CRUSHED that ball, and Mullins nearly made an incredible grab.
  23. Buxton!!! That is a really big run to add on. I assume we see Moran, Stashak, or Danny in the 9th now.
