    I'll get to him eventually, and it's a two volume collection, so i bet it has them also... But seein' as i haven't finished my collection of Chekhov's comic stories (the only place i found Romance with Double Bass, which i'd been looking for since seeing John Cleese's adaptation) it might be a while... Thankfully we don't have nearly as long to wait for this game to start, i assume.

    Fine intro. Yeah, there wasn't much action on the thread during that come half back bit last night. And the team is still in a good position despite the recent troubles. I don't know if Buxton will pull the game thread together either. I sure hope so! Anyway, for my Russian Literature, i'll recommend the short story Romance with a Double Bass by Chekhov (Anton, not the Star Trek fella). Anyway, should be fun game to watch...

    Nevermind about the weather. Game's back on. 3 fewer outs for the Twins to come back from an 8 run deficit. Regarding Buxton, the Stauffer DFA freed up the 40 man space, i assume? And we're still wondering where the 25 man space will come from? If Hicks is injured, that's probably it, but could be other moves too? 25 is a pretty good number...

    I expect Frodo draws more walks. And that ring might make stealing bases a little bit easier? I guess that'd might make it to a rule committee. If the batter goes invisible on his way to the plate, how do you know he didn't beat out the throw?

    I'm almost more sad they didn't turn a double play than that they let in 5 more runs. It'd be cool to have a double play per inning. Especially if we had 9 double plays without going to extras.
